16th Prism Awards Celebrates our Veterans

The PRISM Awards, which is produced by the Entertainment Industries Council, Inc. (EIC) in collaboration with FX , honors the accurate depiction of drug, alcohol and tobacco use and addiction, as well as mental health issues in movies, television, music, DVD, and comic book entertainment. Parenthood, Glee, Castle, Southland, Shameless and the feature films Warrior and Take Shelter are among the television shows and films honored at the 16th Annual PRISM Awards ceremony. This years show theme was a celebration of our nations veterans. Full of tributes starting with a Army color guard, a banner jump by the Golden Knights, a “Roll Call” moment with veterans from WWII to present day, all who have now followed career paths after service to careers in the entertainment industry.
