In 1996 Annie Nelson, a former television broadcaster, model and fundraiser, founded Angels Within. http://www.theannienelson.com
Originally envisioned as a service organization, Angels Within has now become much more: The American Soldier Network.
Through this organization Ms. Nelson is doing the job that should have been done when our troops came back home from Vietnam. She is bringing honor to the men and women of the United States Military.
“Her kind words, attentive ear, soft shoulder and all of the time she freely gives to our nation’s warriors and their families is a rare find among Americans today. God has truly called her to honor and thank our veterans. “Americas Heroes with the Adventures of Eddy and Hazel” along with the other shows is something this nation has been thirsty for.”
~Medal of Honor Recipient John Baca, Specialist Fourth Class, Army, Vietnam 1970
For the past 10 years, and going strong Annie has dedicated her life to spreading Patriotism across the United States by raising awareness for the needs of our veterans, our injured soldiers, their families and the challenges they all face during the reintegration process when they return from Iraq and Afghanistan. Her main goal is to bring shows created by her team to air on network prime time television.
Her efforts in turn will raise funds which will help veterans from all eras and continue to educate our country on the importance of all Americans supporting our troops everyday!
“Thank God for Annie, for what she is doing for our country! We need more people around like her!”
~Navy Cross Recipient Jeremiah Workman, Staff Sergeant, USMC
Annie’s true commitment and passion for the troops is infectious! Please join her and the rest of the American Soldier Network team in supporting our veterans, military personnel and their families.
“Her heart for the military is not just lip service. Annie has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Her commitment to the troops has been nothing short of inspirational!”
~Navy Seal N.R.
