“Annie is one of those precious and few individuals who in the face of significant personal pain and hardship still finds the time to devote countless hours of their time and energy to support others in need. Her devotion to our wounded warriors is exemplary, and I’m proud to be her supporter and her friend.”Joe Mantegna
“Annie Nelson’s remarkable story of overcoming multiple head trauma, PTSD, and a life-threatening brain tumor, and transforming her adversity into the opportunity to support our veterans and their families, embodies the spirit of my Open Hearts Foundation, for which she won the first-ever ‘Open Heart Patriot Award’ in 2012. In her memoir, Annie exemplifies how facing life struggles with faith and courage truly can make a difference to others.”Jane Seymour
“Annie Nelson has done about as much as one lovely lady could possibly do to support and truly care about the welfare of our nations veterans. Her book not only reflects her passion but a true outlook at what all of us should say. God bless these people that put their lives on the line as well as their health so that we may maintain a way of life. May God bless our veterans as much as he blesses our country’s future.”John Paul DeJoria
